About the position
To strengthen our private practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery in Stuttgart, we are looking for an experienced surgical technologist (OTA) (m/f/d) with Fachkunde I (DGSV) as a technical sterilization assistant. The position is a key role for safe and smooth operations in our OR and is carried out in close cooperation with the practice owner, Dr. Zimmermann. We stand for surgical procedures at the highest level – professionally excellent, and appreciative, discreet and trustworthy in our dealings with our patients.
Your tasks
- Scrub and circulating duties during surgical procedures in plastic and aesthetic surgery
- Proper reprocessing and sterilization of medical devices in accordance with current hygiene standards (DGSV / RKI guidelines)
- Preparing and tidying the operating room and ensuring materials are available
- Documentation and quality assurance in the sterilization area
- Close cooperation with the medical team and active involvement in shaping safe processes
- Empathetic and professional care of patients in the perioperative area
Your profile
- Completed training as a surgical technologist (OTA) or comparable qualification
- Fachkunde I (DGSV) as a technical sterilization assistant – essential
- Several years of professional experience in the OR, ideally in a private clinic or practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery
- Sound knowledge of the reprocessing of medical devices and the application of current hygiene regulations
- Structured, precise and responsible way of working
- Confident and calm manner as well as team spirit
- Discreet and appreciative approach to patients
